• The workshop lasts 4 hours, once a month, usually in the late afternoon.

• It is done as a city walk. The walk is about 4 kilometers long, taking participants through the old streets of the city center, descending into the wine cellars and climbing up the Pyramid, visiting the park and city sights and locations along the river.

• During the walk to each of the instagrammable sites, there is a crash course:

  • cell phones and digital cameras

  • use of the Instagram app

  • framing and photo art history

  • use of professional photo processing software

  • publication and promotion of photographs on social networks

• The practical part / taking photos at selected points / takes place in groups and individually

• The photographs produced by the participants are marked with a single tag and promoted through the project's online system.

The Instagram Maribor service is designed as a hands-on monthly Instagram photography workshop by the Unuk Gallery. Workshop mentor is Igor Unuk, assistant in the workshop is Ivana Unuk, curator of the Unuk Gallery.
