The walk is interactive and includes various heritage interpretation techniques. We bring the story of the factory in the tunnels closer to the visitor through facts and curiosities.
Visitors relive the Allied air raid, glance a short photo exhibition and take a walk through the ever-wet tunnels.
Visitors listen to the story of a witness who worked in the tunnels for 2 years and watch a short film about what happened to the building & tunnels after the 2nd world war.
Additional information
90 steps lead to the tunnels, along which a fence post is installed, which can help you access the tunnels in case of minor mobility impairment. Unfortunately, if you have severe mobility impairments, you cannot access the tunnels at the moment, as there is no lift yet, and the ramp would be too steep.
The tunnels are located 15 meters below the ground. If you are afraid of dark and closed spaces, consider whether the visit can cause you discomfort. However, the tunnels are well illuminated, the guide is equipped with an additional long-range lamp, and visitors are lit with mini lamps or. own mobile phones. The tunnels are relatively narrow, but not hermetically closed, if the place tightness is what causes you tension.
The temperature in the tunnels is between 12-14 ° C, so dress appropriately (warmly) and, due to the constant humidity, also wear appropriate footwear (waterproof footwear).
Corona warning: guidance takes place in underground spaces, so masks are recommended, but not mandatory, as they can cause nausea, so overestimate yourself whether you will wear a mask or not. Try to stay within your social group, separate from other visitors. To make the tour easier, the guide does not have a mask, but is standing at a suitable distance away from visitors. During the validity of the coronavirus measures, visitors do not receive helmets and lamps, as adequate disinfection cannot be provided. A disinfectant is available for visitors to disinfect on arrival.
